Mars is living in foster care and ready for adoption.

Meet Mars (or Marzi to her friends), a sweet and playful girl who loves being indoors but is also happy relaxing outside when you’re away. She’ll need a secure yard with solid 6-foot fencing, as she can be a bit vocal if she spots people or dogs passing by.

Mars is a stair-climbing pro and enjoys her daily walks, just not in the rain! She’s working on staying calm around other dogs and is making great progress, but will need a patient, dog-savvy owner to continue her training.

She’d thrive best in a quiet neighbourhood with minimal foot traffic and is fine being left alone during the workday.

Mars has a silly, playful side, especially in the afternoons when the zoomies hit! She also travels well and enjoys a good car ride.

Mars has pannus, a manageable eye condition, and requires daily eye drops.

If you’re after a loving, quirky companion with a heart of gold, Marzi could be your girl!

Mars’ suitability:
✅ Can live in a townhouse or a house with a yard
✅ Suitable for older children 6+ years
✅ Content on being a single dog
✅ Can live with a medium to large polite/calm dog
✅ No first-time dog owners please
✅ Would love a quiet family home
